Our journey began with a simple belief – patients deserve better

Mission

We felt an overwhelming need for change

Our mission was born out of the frustration of seeing loved ones suffer needlessly from chronic pain. Over 50 million Americans have chronic pain, yet less than 20% report sustained improvements after treatment.

Today’s standard of care is not only ineffective, it is impersonal and leaves many patients without adequate support.

So we asked ourselves, what kind of care would we want for our loved ones?

Vision

We built a path forwards

Like many others, we spent years searching for high-quality pain care. What we found were fragmented services, a lack of evidence based therapies and limited patient options. To do right by patients and create the care they deserved would be no easy feat – we had to design a new model of multidisciplinary care, make it affordable and accessible to all, and create a patient experience that was simple and personal.

Team

We put together a world class team

To realize our vision we needed to build a world-class team – and that’s exactly what we did.  We brought together leaders with deep clinical, scientific and operational expertise – all united by a shared vision to transform chronic pain care for the better.

Action

And took action

It’s easy to theorize solutions to big problems – it’s entirely different thing to take action. We don’t dwell on the ever present mantra of healthcare is broken, but rather believe that whatever isn’t working is fixable. Our team comes from diverse backgrounds, with a common history that connects us all – a track record of getting things done.
